i wanna thank melvin for the past 3 weeks. i wanna thank him for his patience, his love, his help, and most importantly, his presence.
he would drag himself to help me with doing stuff, even though he'd a tiring day at work and still have school the next day.
he would accompany me to run errands, even though he don't feel like leaving his house.
he would sit and wait outside a shop for me for over an hour, even though the weather is so humid and hot and he's in his formal shirt.
he would drag himself to accompany me while im "researching on some stuff", even though it does not interest him.
he would make sure i had my proper meals and not get busy and forget about my meals.
he would be very patient and tolerant with me when i get all stressed up and started screaming like a mad woman.
he would sacrifice and be my "driver" during his weekend, running around the island with me.
he would give up his precious sleep, so just that i can sleep earlier.
his presence, love and company, is all i ever need.

and so i haven't been blogging much, that's because i don't even have enough time to sleep. sleeping at 3am & waking up at 7.30am for work had been a routine for me for the past 3 weeks. but it's been fruitful and good. get many things going. get myself trained with handling "stress".
i know i missed the phonecall that i was supposed to make to you. you know who you are. i promise you it'll come this week. there's so much bitching to catch up!
i've now successfully eliminated some people off my life & im glad i found the courage to do so. people whom claim they love me but are just bullshitting all these while.
time to hit facebook now. i've not logged on to facebook for weeks!

1. Melvin is gonna do up a photo collage of my hello kitty items. Stay tune.
2. I've put on a lot of weight. Unknowingly to KNOWN. Not because of what I eat, but I think because I've been sitting tooooo much. I'm gonna TRY to learn to travel by foot more.
3. It's mugging period for me now till exams are over.
4. Japan trip is being held up because of the swine flu.
5. I love Euzanne. I love what we're doing together.
6. I'm missing my parents lots. This is the first mother's day without my mummy in Singapore.
7. I can't wait to see Jere.
8. I had my first cuttlefish rojak with Eric. We love rojak but the last rojak tasted "too much". We need a change.

I'm gonna spell out a secret not many knew.
I've always been a lover of sanrio items! Back then when I was in primary school, Kalm's used to be my favourite shop. You can find me in Kalm's at Parkway Parade every Saturday before my piano class, or Kalm's at Centerpoint when my mum leaves me there while she goes shopping at Robinsons. I would get so crazy over those cute pink stuff that I'll spend a couple of hours in there.
I even did something quite disgusting, selfish & shameful then. I "convinced" my sister to choose a sanrio item as her birthday gift, so that I can take and use it too. And my lovely sister, what can I say. She did it for me. Ok, I know this sounds horrendous. Please forgive me, I was still young then! Anyway, I love my sister to bits and this is one incident that I'll never forget. Because of her generous & loving heart, she's reaping back a lot more now from me!
So anyway, Sanrio stuff have always been very expensive, even till today. Back then in those days, I could only see, touch, admire and return it back to the shelf. My parents would never buy me sanrio items. When I was a little older in secondary school, there was this Hello Kitty Shop at Eastpoint, but it winded up after a year. I was soooooo in love with having a Hello Kitty shop near my house back then, that I would go there at least twice a week and try to save my pocket money to buy cute stuff in there.
Now that I'm so much older, my love for sanrio items is still burning. And with spending power now, oh my gosh, I cannot imagine how much I've spent so far. Melvin would be tortured in Hello Kitty shops for over an hour with a growling stomach. My parents fainted when they saw a sudden outburst of Hello Kitty calculators, keyboard, mouse-pad, toothbrush, stationery, water-bottle etc. My sister freaked when she saw a 3D Hello Kitty room phone next to her bed. My maid is speechless when she saw my car boot has a Hello Kitty umbrella.
I'm so crazy, that I can even name a few Hello Kitty shops in Singapore. Let's see, apart from the original Sanrio stores in Isetan Scotts, Takashimaya, Plaza Sing & Harbourfront, there's a Catty & Eve at West Coast where I now have a life-time membership & also to the extent that I know the owner well. Another store in Novena Square, another one in Raffles Place UOB building, another famous one in Chinatown Point and another one in IMM (I've decided to leave out the names of the other shops as I'm not doing any advertising). These are the few that I can remember without thinking.
My sister cannot comprehend why am I "not over" Hello Kitty. My answer: "I like it because it's stuff is in pink and they're very pretty! I do like Little Twin Stars too!" And my sister will be lost for words. *slaps forehead*
My family are now trying to control my obsession before I regret spending too much unnecessary money. My mum is constantly reminding me of my dream, and the reason I've been saving so hard over the past few months.
I need to learn: SELF-CONTROL.
